So I had to go to Liverpool as part of a fieldwork project for my uni course but didn't really try any bars/pubs out. This was my mission for the next time I visited as Liverpool was and is such a nice and welcoming city. I went two weeks ago and visited the Museum of Liverpool and the International Slavery Museum. And of course, a fair few pubs/bars!

On the first night we went to a bar which was situated just off of Liverpool One, the area was buzzing with it being such a popular area at night with there being so many bars/clubs open. The music and the whole vibe that night was just right up my street which ended in me suffering that night and the following morning haha.

The next night we decided to check out The Cavern Club which I was excited about but didn't know how bloody good it was going to be! The Cavern has different bands/singers at different times of the day and each day has different performers. It's also like a small museum with glass cabinets displaying different guitars and pictures of artists who have played The Cavern Club such as Adele, Jake Bugg and of course, The Beatles! So on the night we went, The Jailbirds were playing and omg they were beyond amazing, exceeded all my expectations.

I want to go back to Liverpool so badly and have a few great nights out again. I don't know when that will be but I'd like to come back before the end of the year. I also need to find out when The Jailbirds are playing again at The Cavern as I need to see them perform again.

I'd love to know if any of you reading this have visited The Cavern Club and feel free to get in touch with me.

Many thanks,

Brontee
